自動攪拌一體機可以實現(xiàn)多種作業(yè)功能，其操作靈活、使用方便、作業(yè)速度快，所以在土石方施工中得到了廣泛使用。攪拌裝載機的動力由發(fā)動機產(chǎn)生，經(jīng)過液壓系統(tǒng)、液力變矩器、變速箱、驅(qū)動橋等傳動部件到達行走和工作系統(tǒng)。

自動攪拌一體機在作業(yè)過程中存在大量的往復運動，伴隨著作業(yè)過程產(chǎn)生的動能和勢能，如不加以回收利用，將會產(chǎn)生很大的能量損失。因此，攪拌裝載機的混合動力和能量回收技術可有效利用能量，提率，降低油耗、排放和噪聲。具有混合動力系統(tǒng)的攪拌裝載機具有不止一個動力源，一個是發(fā)動機，另一個是液壓蓄能器。

蓄能器的工作過程分為能量回收和能量釋放兩個階段，在能量回收階段，混合動力系統(tǒng)通過液壓電氣控制方式將攪拌裝載機的制動能量轉化為液壓能存儲在蓄能器中；
